Will work with you to eliminate personal costs of PrEP

HIV testing does not require any establishment or commitment.  Free rapid antibody testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis.  In office testing for Gonorrhea & Chlamydia at a cost of $20 lab fee and insurance information is collected.  We are not a treatment center if you feel you are experiencing the symptoms of an STI please go to the Tippecanoe County Health Department any day of the week for free treatment.

Email PrEPnavigation@iuhealth.org for more information on PrEP HIV prevention medications or to see if you may be able to apply for financial assistance through PrEP MAP or Gilead Patient Assistance Programs.

PrEP services MAY require enrollment in PrEP MAP. Gilead Advancing Access is a program through the medication manufacturer to help cover co pays for medication and associated medical care.

What testing do they do?

  • HIV Rapid Antibody Test (Finger prick blood test)
  • HCV (Hepatitis C) Rapid Antibody Test (Finger prick blood test)
  • Syphilis Rapid Antibody Test (Finger prick blood test)
  • Gonorrhea & Chlamydia laboratory testing (self collection of urine, vaginal or rectal samples)

When will I get results?

  • Rapid antibody test results in about 10-20 minutes
  • Gonorrhea & Chlamydia laboratory testing results in about 1 week

Do I need an appointment?

Mondays from 09:00 – 17:00 for walk-in testing, no appointments necessary. To make an appointment outside of these hours please email Logan at LLEE16@iuhealthl.org

We offer linkage to care services for those living with HIV. Whether you were diagnosed through another organization or are simply new to the area and need to transition your care. For questions regarding client services or to schedule an intake to services, please contact our client services manager at hiv@iuhealth.org.

We also offer case management for those living with Hepatitis C. We link patients to care providers and guide them through the treatment process. Hepatitis C is curable and everyone is eligible for treatment, even those in active use of controlled substances.
